Laser printers that can also copy scan and fax are fantastic for taking the clutter out of the office. They also help cut down on the number of outlets and tables you need.
These machines are even great for casual home users that make the occasional copy or fax. They save trips to staples and office max and allow you to quickly back up personal documents in two different ways. You can either make a copy or you can scan them in and save them digitally on your computer.
The problem with all in one laser printers is that there are so many to choose from. You may have had a good experience with your previous standard printer and then found that the same company that made that printer really isn’t any good at making all in one models.
I have experience with all sorts of all all in one systems and have found that the best all in one printer for black and white copies is the Brother. Brother makes small yet fast and durable all in one models that can easily be networked.
You’ll even find that many Brother models allow you to plug flash drives into them to do direct prints. Additionally it starts up quick even when it hasn’t been run for days.
Quality All In One Laser Printers
The best color laser all in one model is most certainly the Cannon. Cannon has always set the standard when it comes to great color printers and copiers. Some good models out today are the Canon PIXMA MP560 and the Canon PIXMA MX870.
What I like about both the Brother and the Cannon models is that you can easily copy and scan multiple documents at a time. You simply put the stack of papers in the feeder and it will slide them through for you. This is much better than standing at the machine slowly copying one page after another.
Another great thing is that they are wireless. I’m able to print from my laptop without actually hooking it up to the printer. I always found it a hassle to have to bring my laptop over to the printer to plug it in. It added time to the whole process and forced me to work longer than I really wanted to.
